For a true taste of Montana, The Lodge at Sun Ranch sources Montana’s finest ingredients — small-herd, grass-fed beef, and naturally raised pork, lamb, and poultry. We have forged relationships with the area’s organic farmers to fill the Lodge pantry with fresh and flavorful vegetables and fruit. The result is a style we call “sustainable western bistro cuisine.”

A full breakfast begins your day, a gourmet lunch provides fuel for even more outdoor activities, capped off by a dinner to satisfy even the most particular gourmand. Our wine cellar contains an extensive collection of vintage wines from the major wine growing regions of the world. Select your favorite bottle from our cellar to accompany your meal. Relax around the fire and share stories in our full-service bar, where you can enjoy a variety of cocktails, beer and apertifs. We’ve posted selections from recent menus to whet your appetite.

Dining FAQ's

What about my dietary restrictions?
With advance notice, our chef can accommodate your dietary needs. Because we are in a remote location, please inform our office staff of your medical and dietary requirements well in advance of your arrival.

Will we need to dress up for dinner?
Casual attire is appropriate for your visit, even in the dining room.

What if I have a special occasion while I am visiting?
We are always happy to make any occasion special for you during your stay. If you would like a special dinner or dessert prepared please inform our office staff well in advance of your arrival.

Is alcohol included in my package?
Alcoholic beverages are not included in room rates or packages. The Lodge at Sun Ranch’s wine cellar provides guests with an impressive collection of wines from mature Bordeaux to classic vintages. Additional beverages are available from our full bar, including a variety of domestic, micro-brewed, imported and handcrafted beers.
